We grow loofas (aka loofah, luffa, loupha) down by the sea in sunny Carlsbad, California. Here we have the perfect climate to nurture the long growing season of the incredible Luffa Gourd. Our passion for growing loofa sprouted after one random trip to the garden store, we picked up a seed packet, stuck a couple in the ground, and the rest is history! The first growing season resulted in a small harvest, just enough for “personal use.” Next season, we grew just enough to give to family and friends during the holidays. The next year our harvest was bigger than ever and we decided to share our bounty with the world. Carlsbad Loofa Co. was born!
